Count Them Again, a bay daughter of Premeditation owned by Lola J. Cuellar, will put her perfect record on the line in Saturday’s 6-furlong, $100,000 La Senora Stakes (R) for New Mexico-bred 3-year-old fillies at Sunland Park.

Trained by Jaime Fuentes, Count Them Again has won all four of her starts and has earned $159,780, and she has won two stakes — the 6-furlong, $50,000 Manzano Stakes at Albuquerque Downs on August 10, and the 6-furlong, $145,000 New Mexico Cup Lassie Championship (R) at Zia Park on October 27. The filly drew the rail post and will be ridden by Francisco Arrieta.

Other contenders include Sammy L. Stevens’ Gold Of Roses, a homebred Quinton’s Gold filly trained by Joel Marr. An earner of $86,603 from four starts, the filly ran second, six lengths behind winner Fritzies Flame, in the 5 1/2-furlong, $123,000 Rio Grande Senorita Futurity (R) at Ruidoso Downs on September 1.

Gold Of Roses drew post 4 and will be ridden by Miguel Fuentes Jr.
