Evacuee, a gelded son of the Pulpit stallion Abstraction owned by B4 Farms LLC, is the 4-1 morning-line favorite for Sunday’s 1 1/16-mile, $100,000 Albert and Henry Dominguez Memorial Handicap (R) for New Mexico-breds at Sunland Park.

Evacuee is coming off of a runner-up placing in the 6 1/2-furlong, $100,000 Jamison Memorial Handicap R on January 30. A $30,000 yearling purchase at the 2018 New Mexico-Bred Sale at Ruidoso Downs, the dark bay or brown gelding will be making the third start of his 5-year-old campaign.

Evacuee drew the rail post and will be ridden by Roimes Chirinos for trainer Todd Fincher.

Delbert Too, the upset winner of the Jamison Memorial at odds of 31-1, drew post 9 and will be ridden by Rigo Sarmiento for owner and trainer Filiberto Quiroz.
