Fill The Bill, a bay daughter of Attila’s Storm racing for J & SM Inc. of Fort Stockton, Texas, drew the rail post for Sunday’s 5 1/2-furlong, $133,828 Rio Grande Senorita Futurity (R) for New Mexico-bred 2-year-old fillies at Ruidoso Downs.

An $82,000 yearling purchase at last year’s New Mexico-Bred Sale, Fill The Bill broke her maiden with a half-length victory in one of three Senorita Futurity trials on July 24. The filly is a half sister to 2019 Mt. Cristo Rey Handicap (R) winner Hollywood Henry.

Fill The Bill has earned $22,810 from three starts. Enrique Gomez will ride Fill The Bill for trainer Fred Danley.

Other contenders include trial winners Atill I Chime and Shame On Bea. Atill I Chime is a homebred Attila’s Storm filly trained by Joel Marr for owners Pierre and Leslie Amestoy of Albuquerque. Atill I Chime is one of two winners from four starters produced by Pocketfullachime, a homebred daughter of Chimes Band who won the 2007 Rio Grande Senorita Futurity (R).

Atill I Chime drew post 9 and will be ridden by Miguel Fuentes Jr.

Shame On Bea is trained by Cliff Lambert for owners Jimmy Powers and Rebecca Powers. The Shame On Charlie filly is a full sister to two stakes winners, including 2019 Rio Grande Senor Futurity (R) winner Shame On Powers.
