Trained by James Gonzales II, Bigg Dee is coming off of a summer campaign during which the gelding won a pair of 400-yard stakes — the July 31, $203,000 Zia Derby (RG2) at Ruidoso Downs, and the September 19, $238,000 New Mexico State Fair Derby (R) at Albuquerque Downs. All told, Bigg Dee has won eight of 14 starts, including five of eight at the 400-yard trip — and he has earned $326,560.

Mario Delgado will ride Bigg Dee on Sunday.
