A lot of people are still losing out on their New Mexico Horse Breeders’ incentive awards due to not paying their dues. If you are an owner running a NM Bred Horse, you MUST make sure your NMHBA dues are paid. You will be given a 90-day grace period from the day your horse places 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in a race to get your dues paid up to date before you forfeit your NMHBA incentive money. The association is still mailing letters and trying our best to keep up with phone calls to those who need to pay their dues, however we will not be able to do this forever. Please spread the word to everyone you know! Trainers let your owners know as well. If you are unsure of the status of your dues, please call the office at 505-262-0224 to find out.
