Six New Mexico-bred sophomore fillies, led by morning-line favorite Hannah’s Highlife, are entered in Sunday’s 1-mile, $100,000 Enchantress Stakes (R) at Sunland Park.
Hannah’s Highlife is a gray or roan daughter of the Midnight Lute stallion Holy Lute trained by Bart Hone for owner Teed Off Stable LLC. The homebred filly will be stretching out in distance off of her third-place finish, 1 1/2 lengths behind winner Mama Was A Rocket, in the 6-furlong, $100,000 La Senora Stakes (R) on January 15.
Hannah’s Highlife has won two of five races and has earned $69,520. The filly drew post 3 and will be ridden by Francisco Amparan.
