- ALL broodmares (Dam/Donor & Recipient Mares) must be registered in the NM Permanent Broodmare Registry no later than September 1st of the breeding year or penalties will apply.
- A registered New Mexico Bred racehorse filly or mare does not automatically go into the broodmare registry. She must be put into the broodmare registry by submitting the broodmare application and paying the broodmare registration fee by September 1 of the breeding year. This is a lifetime registry.
- Broodmare Registration $100 one time fee.
- A copy of the broodmare’s registration papers or a pedigree report must accompany the application.
