Recent graded stakes winners KJ Daddys Money (pictured) and My Heart Jess Runs will make their next starts in Saturday’s 400-yard, $100,000 New Mexico Horse Breeders’ Association Stakes (RG2) for state-bred 3-year-old Quarter Horses at Sunland Park.

A bay daughter of Big Daddy Cartel trained by Wes Giles for owners John Lee, Kathy Lee, and Ruben Mares, KJ Daddys Money made her sophomore season debut with a neck victory in the 350-yard, $100,000 Sunburst Stakes (RG3) for state-bred 3-year-old fillies on March 4. The homebred filly has earned $245,642 from seven races — all in New Mexico — and she ended her 2-year-old campaign with a three-quarter length win in the August 7, $380,000 Zia Futurity (RG1) at Ruidoso Downs.

KJ Daddys Money drew post 10 and will be ridden by Adrian Ramos.

My Heart Jess Runs races for Boydston Enterprises Inc. from the barn of trainer James Gonzales III. The Jess A Chicks filly has won two of her three outs and has banked $122,089 during the current Sunland Park winter meet, and she scored a neck victory in the 400-yard, $238,000 Shue Fly Stakes (RG2) on January 28.

My Heart Jess Runs drew post 5 and will be ridden by Mario Delgado.
