No Pasa Nada (pictured), a 6-year-old gelded son of Attila’s Storm racing for Christopher Nathaniel Roybal, is the 3-1 morning-line favorite for Saturday’s 7-furlong, $100,000 O.D. McDonald Stakes (R) for New Mexico-bred Thoroughbreds at Albuquerque Downs.

Trained by Carlos Acosta Jr., No Pasa Nada is coming off of a half-length victory in the 5 1/2-furlong, $100,000 Casey Darnell Stakes (R) at Albuquerque Downs on August 21. The gelding’s season record also includes a 1 1/4-length win in the 6 1/2-furlong, $100,000 Jack Cole Stakes (R) at SunRay Park on May 7.

No Pasa Nada drew post 9 and will be ridden by Luis A. Fuentes.

Trainer Todd Fincher will send out Cheese Tray, a homebred 4-year-old Attila’s Storm gelding owned by J. Kirk and Judy Robison of El Paso, Texas. Cheese Tray has banked $133,330 from seven races this season, and his three wins include a three-quarter length victory in the March 27, $120,000 New Mexico State University Stakes (R) at Sunland Park.

Cheese Tray drew post 4 and will be ridden by Oscar Ceballos.
