Seven state-bred 3-year-old Thoroughbred fillies, led by morning-line favorite Mark The Winner, are entered in Friday’s 1 1/16-mile, $250,000 New Mexico Breeders’ Oaks (R) at Sunland Park.

Mark The Winner is a bay daughter of Marking trained by Simon Buechler for owners Rodney Brooks and Donnie Reid. The filly has earned $185,229 from seven races, and she ended her juvenile season with a neck victory in the 6-furlong, $150,000 New Mexico Classics Lassie Championship Stakes (R) at Zia Park on November 27.

Mark The Winner is out of Unofficial Winner, a winning daughter of Attila’s Storm who ran second in the 2013 C.O. “Ken” Kendrick Memorial Stakes (R) at SunRay Park. The filly drew the rail post and will be ridden by Christian Ramos.
